IT Manager

We're looking for an IT Manager to join us to maintain our IT equipment, computer network and standards in an autonomous role.  Due to the nature of our business, staff will typically have a very high level of computer literacy so this role will focus on maintenance rather than user-support.  We operate a Windows Server based network, but offer team members the choice of PCs or Macs.  In addition, we have a large number of mobile devices and tablets for testing purposes.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT Technician or IT Manager to establish our internal support function and to ensure our employees have access to the best hardware, software and networks.

Typical Responsibilities:

  •     Troubleshoot and fix software, hardware and network problems
  •     Install and configure operating systems and software
  •     Ensure our compliance with contractual requirements
  •     Perform hardware replacements and upgrades
  •     Research and select new IT equipment
  •     Proactively suggest changes and new technologies to improve our internal infrastructure
  •     Maintain a hardware and software inventory
  •    Perform backups and test our data recovery process

  •     Experience administering a Windows based network
  •     In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server edition
  •     Familiar with general networking concepts
  •     A passion for IT and a willingness to seek and suggest new technologies to improve our business
